The Everett Centennial

The Everett Centennial commemorated the renaming of Bloody Run to Everett, in honor of statesman and orator Edward Everett. The name was officially changed on 13 February 1873. Since it was so close to the county's Bicentennial, it was decided to include it in the county's festivities.
