This is another example of a powder horn produced between the 1790s and the 1910s. As can be seen in the bottom-most illustration, there are very few holes by which the end plug would have been attached to the horn: a sign of age. This horn might have been used during the American Revolutionary War. This horn measures ten and one-half (10-1/2) inches in length and two (2) inches in diameter at the wide end. |
