| This rake looks much like any other rake, with the exception that the head, containing the teeth, is constructed of wood, rather than metal. The reason for this is not that a metal head was not available, but rather because the rake was intended to be used in a grain silo. There was no need for a farmer to go to the expense of purchasing a rake with a metal head if it would simply be used to rake a light-weight material such as grain. |
