| This is another example of the ladderback chair. It has a "blonde" color. Like the previous exhibit, I created the seat for this chair by covering a piece of wood with a piece of embroidered fabric; the original seat would have been 'caned' with rush or jute, but some previous owner created a woven string seat. |
| The finials are a bit more elaborate than those of the previous two exhibits, sugesting this chair dates from a more recent period. |
