| This is another example of a mortar and pestle. This set is most definitely mismatched. I know this to be a fact because when I bought it, there was only the mortar. I then matched a 'pestle' to it by choosing a sausage grinder plunger that seemed similar in color and shape. It works as a set as far as viewing it is concerned. But if anyone would ever try to use it as a mortar and pestle, they would discover that the pestle's flat bottom would not grind very well inside the mortar's rounded bowl. |
