| This is another example of the castle type of spinning wheel which comes from Germany. A note that was attached to the underside of the base plate noted: This little spinning wheel was brought to this country from Germany in the year 1840 by Catherine Hinderer wife of Gotlub Hinderer, who preceded her to this country.
