This book, noted on the title page as "Part Four" (Parte Quatra), was published at Barcelona Por Mauro Marti Librero, Ano 1751. Vendese en su misma Casa en la Plaza de San Iayme. As with other books published in Spain during the Eighteenth Century, this one has calfskin leather stretched over lightweight cardboard covers, resulting in what could be called a "soft" bound book. Notice also, in the images directly below, the leather cord attached to the front cover and the leather 'knot' attached to the back cover, which were used to keep the covers clasped shut when not in use. |
