Robert Muirhead was born on 18 February, 1763 at the small village of Bothkenner, Scotland. He married Anne Dent. The couple gave birth to four children: Alexander, born 1792; Helen Elizabeth, born 1794; Anne, born 1798; and Mary, born 1801. Robert Muirhead died in the year 1831.
