The Naval Privateer Flag was composed of a field of thirteen alternating black and yellow stripes. It was used by both Continental and American privateer vessels.
A variation of this flag was flown on the brig Reprisal, commanded by Captaon Lambert Wickes in September 1776. It consisted of a field of thirteen alternating yellow and white stripes.
